Lake Loramie State Park is a public recreation area located on the northeast side of Fort Loramie, Ohio. It occupies 407 acres (165 ha) on 1,655-acre (670 ha) Lake Loramie [ 3 ] and is operated by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources .
Fort Loramie is home to an annual three-day-long festival in the summer, Country Concert, [10] which attracts thousands of people from around the United States and Canada. The yearly concert fest is located at Hickory Hill Lake located south of the village near the neighboring rural community of Newport.

Loramie Creek is a 40.0-mile-long (64.4 km) [1] tributary of the Great Miami River in western Ohio in the United States. Via the Great Miami and Ohio rivers, it is part of the watershed of the Mississippi River , draining an area of 265 square miles (690 km 2 ). [ 2 ]
In 1930 the Ayers bought another 63 acres (250,000 m 2) of lakeshore and begin to rent cabins to hunters and visitors. By 1937 the Ayers' resort business was fully established with cabins, boats, a dining hall, a boat dock, a boat factory, a maple sugar syrup refinery, a gas station, a trading post and store.
It was the only Minnesota state park with a 9-hole golf course, which overlooks the Minnesota River and goes along Fort Ridgely Creek. The park was established in 1911. [ 2 ] The Civilian Conservation Corps Rustic Style buildings within the state park, built between 1934 and 1936, [ 3 ] are listed on the National Register of Historic Places .
