Hanna Emilia Rydberg-Mitiku, known simply as Emilia (born 5 January 1978), [1] is a Swedish pop music and soul singer, as well as a one-hit wonder. [2] Her 1998 hit single " Big Big World " reached number one in the music charts in several countries.
Play was a Swedish pop girl group. Faye Hamlin, Anna Sundstrand, Anaïs Lameche, and Rosie Munter formed Play's original lineup from the band's formation from 2000 until late 2003. After founding member Hamlin left the group, fifth member Janet Leon joined Play to fill Hamlin's position as lead singer. [1]
The music video for "Big Big World" was recorded in New York City and is shot in black-and-white. It features Emilia wandering around in the city, performing the song at different places. Some scenes show the singer in the crowd of walking people on the street, other scenes shows her sitting on the edge at the top of a 12-storey high house.
The music video for the song was directed by Giacomo de Simone and filmed in Italy. In 2002, DJ BoBo released "Everybody" as a duet with Swedish singer Emilia on his first compilation album, Celebration (2002). And in 2015, a new version of the song, remixed by Mike Candys and featuring Romanian singer Inna, was released.
