Peace is the eighth and final studio album by British pop duo Eurythmics, released on 18 October 1999 by RCA Records. It was the band's first album of new material in 10 years, following 1989's We Too Are One .
During the course of his decade-long career, he has composed and produced original scores and songs for more than 30 films in various languages, predominantly in Tamil, in addition to Telugu and Hindi. His debut song "Why This Kolaveri Di", composed for the 2012 film 3, went viral across the globe and has achieved over 400 million views on YouTube.
The song fetched him several awards and nominations including his first Filmfare Awards. [3] He worked with Jeet Gannguli for the rest of his tracks in the album. He further allied with Pritam, singing three tracks for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The duo collaborated with Shahid Kapoor, performing "Main Rang Sharbaton Ka" and "Dhokha Dhadi". [4]
Peace and Love Inc. is an album by the synthpop band Information Society.The album received great critical reviews but the label did little to promote it. It was the least successful of the three albums released by Tommy Boy/Reprise and was the last Tommy Boy title to be distributed by major-label channels (WEA in this case), although Warner Bros. Records owned a stake in the label until 2002.
The album was released in India on 20 May 2008 by Big Music, two years before the release of the film. The soundtrack received generally favorable reviews from critics.
