MRSM Merbok in Kedah. MARA Junior Science Colleges (MJSC) (Malay: Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM)), is a network of boarding schools founded by the People's Trust Council (PTC) (Malay: Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA)), a Malaysian governmental organization.
Its history began in 1985 when the GCE A-Level programme was introduced in MARA Junior Science College Seremban (MRSM Seremban, now known as Kolej MARA Seremban). To diversify the number of universities that students can apply to, in 1991 the college introduced a new pre-university programme: the IB Diploma Programme .
The alumni group of the college, MRSM Kuala Kubu Bharu, was established in 2012 by MRSM Felda's SPM leavers of 2011, by nine co-founders consisting of the first SPM Batch who later became the core members and committees. As of 14 August 2013, the Alumni is registered under the Malaysian Registrar of Societies.

The district is located in the northeastern part of Selangor and borders the state of Perak to the north, Pahang to the east, Sabak Bernam district to the northwest, Kuala Selangor district to its southwest and Gombak district to the south.
