These results will come during the 2020–21 Biathlon World Cup and 2021–22 Biathlon World Cups seasons, up until 16 January 2022. The final 12 spots, per gender, will be allocated using the IBU Qualifying Points List, to nations who have not qualified any athletes yet, with a maximum of two per nation.
Sverre Dahlen Aspenes entered the biathlon sport in 2007, but he didn't make his international debut until relatively late. Initially, he competed in cross-country skiing at the national junior championships in 2015 and 2016.
