Hello Lighthouse is a picture book written and illustrated by Sophie Blackall. The book tells the story of a lighthouse and its last keeper and was well received, winning the 2019 Caldecott Medal for its illustrations. Drawing inspiration from a variety of sources, Blackall worked hard on the design of the book.

Lighthouse Keeping is a 1946 American animated cartoon directed by Jack Hannah and produced by Walt Disney. [1] In the cartoon, Donald battles with an angry pelican to keep his lighthouse light on. The pelican's name is not used in the short, but Disney A to Z reveals that his name is Marblehead.
