The Royal Purple Yearbook is the official yearbook of Kansas State University. It has won a number of awards, including several National Pacemaker Awards. [1] The Columbia Scholastic Press Association awarded the Royal Purple a Silver Crown in 2006. [2] The Royal Purple's predecessor first appeared at Kansas State Agricultural College in 1891.
Anderson Hall is the central administration building for Kansas State University in the city of Manhattan, Kansas, United States.Designed by Erasmus T. Carr, it was originally called the Practical Agriculture Building when the first wing (now the north wing) was completed in 1879. [2]
Durland Hall was the first wing constructed in 1976 at a cost of over $3 million. The building is named after Dean Merrill A. Durland, a Kansas State College graduate, professor, and Dean of the School of Engineering and Architecture, and Director of the Engineering Experiment Station.
