"Happy Trails" was released in 1952 as a 78 RPM and 45 RPM by Rogers and Evans with the Whippoorwills and Orchestra, on RCA Victor Records. It was re-issued in 1957 as a 45 RPM record on RCA Victor/Bluebird. Members of the Western Writers of America chose it as one of the Top 100 Western songs of all time. [1]

It provided pedestrian access to former U.S. Navy communication facilities on the island of Oʻahu, Hawaii [1] with more than 3,000 steps along O‘ahu's Ko'olau mountain range. [2] The pathway has been used as a hiking trail at various times but is not open to the public. The city council voted to remove the stairs in 2021.
Happy Trails is the second album of the American band Quicksilver Messenger Service. Most of the album was recorded from two performances at the Fillmore East and Fillmore West, although it is not clear which parts were recorded at which Fillmore. The record was released by Capitol Records in 1969 [1] in stereo.
