Radio Sessions 1974 & 1978 is a double live album by Welsh rock band Budgie. The album tracks were taken from two live concerts; one at the Global Village in London in 1974, the other in Los Angeles in 1978.
In the late 1990s, they developed a more urban sound on Anima Animus; The Times then described their music as "adventurous art rock built around Siouxsie's extraordinary voice and drummer Budgie's battery of percussion". Budgie are best known as a hard rock [2] and heavy metal [1] [2] [22] band who incorporated elements of progressive rock [22] and humour into their musical style. [22] With 1975's Bandolier, they began to also incorporate funk. [22] Budgie's music was described in the All-Music Guide as a cross between Rush and Black Sabbath. [2]
