Arne Svingen (born 10 July 1967) is a Norwegian writer of children's books. He also writes adult fiction and books for young adults. He has published over a hundred titles and his works have been translated into more than a dozen languages. [1] Svingen hails from Grorud and was a journalist before becoming a full-time children's writer in 1997. [1]
Later books are the crime novels Til jord skal du bli from 1997, Over mitt lik from 1999, and Nord og ned from 2003. In 2004 he published the short story collection To perfekte mord og andre kriminelle historier. [3] He published the novel for young adults, Onsdagsranaren, in 1991, and his children's book Hitlers labyrint was published in 1998. [3]
