In this article, the current (2017 to present) 3rd Generation Equinox is reported herein NOT to be available with a V6 engine; this is incorrect. The 2017's were indeed available with GM's High Feature 301 HP LFX 3.6L V6 engine. The V6 engine option was dropped only for the 2018 & 2019 model years.
