During the Jacky Cheung 1/2 Century World Tour (2010–2012), Cheung broke his own record for the greatest number of concerts held by a Chinese singer in a single tour with 146 shows. The Jacky Cheung 1/2 Century World Tour (Chinese: 张学友1/2世界巡迴演唱會) was a concert tour by Hong Kong singer and actor Jacky Cheung, one of the "Four Heavenly Kings" also known as "God of Songs", [1] named in honor of his 50th birthday, marking a half-century of life in song and dance.
Cheung was born and grew up in Quarry Bay in the eastern part of Hong Kong Island.His father is from Tianjin and his mother is from Shanghai. [13] As a child, he lived with his parents and two siblings in a 100 square feet apartment which they simultaneously shared with at least fifteen other relatives. [11]
