The Seven Summits consist of the highest mountain peak on each of the continents. Different lists include slight variations, but generally, the same core is maintained. [4] [3] The topographic isolation (or radius of dominance) of a summit measures how far the summit lies from its nearest point of equal elevation. [5] In the United States, only Denali exceeds 6000 meters (19,685 feet) elevation.
