The 15 oz mugs are 4.25 inches tall and the 12 oz. mugs are 3.79 inches tall. You’ll want to make sure you select the right one for the size of cup you are making. Make sure to select the right size when you are making a custom design.
It’s very important that you chose the right size design for your mug project. Click the (i) symbol in the bottom corner of each image in order to see the size. If you are making a 12 oz mug, look for designs that say “Small”. If you are making a 15 oz mug, look for designs that say “Large”.
There are TWO sizes of mug designs in all of my files — the smaller one on top is for the 12 oz. mug, while the larger one on the bottom is for the 15 oz. mug. Hide or delete the size you do not need by selecting the layer and clicking the eye icon (to hide it) or the trash can icon (to delete it).

How to Design Mugs in Cricut Design Space. Open the Mug Design Setup file in Cricut Design Space. Choose the size of the mug you would like to design. I’ve included wraps for the 12 oz and 15 oz mugs. Upload the Mug Wrap and quote SVG files to Cricut Design Space.
Note about sizes: If using a mug wrap design, it should already be perfectly sized for your cup; just make sure if it says “Large,” you’re using a 15 oz mug; “Small” is a 12 oz mug. If you are putting an individual design on one side, it should be no larger than 3″ square.
