    Everyone at IBM, outside of executive levels are generally at risk for layoffs. The best thing you can do is make sure you’re useful and make sure you have a plan. If you do get laid off, make sure you have a cushion/emergency fund, payoff debts, etc..

    In the US I am speculating based on the earnings report stating a charge in Q1 and past experience that layoffs can be completed in 60days that Jan 31 is the latest to complete before end of Q1. I don’t know how the accounting works and have heard of people getting 90 days notice so it could all stretch into Q2..
