Wikipedia: @AlanDistro's point is really good--good gateway to professional reviews for a given album; punching the album title into Google News works, too Metacritic: Probably not the best aggregator possible (there needs to be something more like Rotten Tomatoes for music), but still good for occasionally checking if there's something good ...

Thanks for the info. It seems strange to see BestBuy and Merchbar are about to have it for pre-order. I recall that Blue Note Review, at least when it comes to vol. 1 and vol. 2 was sold exclusively via BN review site only for the registered "club" members. But maybe it have changed after the success of Tone Poet series?
Definitely looking forward to hearing this tomorrow, especially after reading this very positive review: Album: Joan as Police Woman - Lemons, Limes and Orchids There’s much more to immerse yourself in here. I feel quite inadequate in describing this triumphant return. Just dive in and float towards Joan’s “impossibly gorgeous shore”.
Great review I have always loved Feat's debut, it's humble straightforwardness, reclaims very quietly and ably territory claimed by the Stones. The Doobie's debut serves as similar off to the left relationship to their body of work that Feat's debut does to their work.
Following the lead from the previous album, it's a blue-sy soul number. Definitely one of the stronger songs on the album, with an amazing organ by Roger Kellaway. B+ "So Sad" - A lot of these songs would fit in well on Living in the Material World. George's hoarse vocals aren't as noticeable here, and the album continues to chug along.

Mogg's Motel is the debut solo album from Phil Mogg, the legendary vocalist and founding member of rock icons UFO. Following the band's final show in 2022 and breakup announcement, Phil thankfully didn't take retirement to heart and fans will be delighted to know that this excellent new album rocks in the same vein as his previous band.
A nice four star review of the new Memphis box set in Louder, but even this critic thought the box set includes everything Elvis ever recorded in Memphis. Elvis Presley: Memphis album review | Louder "A rewarding retrospective, not dissimilar to the kind revered artists get at major museums": Elvis Presley's Memphis recordings are immortal gold
It's nice to hear some guitar that's a little more aggressive coming into his music again, I could really go for a more rocking Paul Weller album. Thanks for the heads-up, Mr. Jinks. Groovy , Feb 22, 2024
