Round Lake State Park is a public recreation area located four miles (6.4 km) southwest of Sagle in Bonner County, Idaho. The 142-acre (57 ha) state park surrounds 123-acre (50 ha) Round Lake. [3] The lake was formed from glacial activity in the Pleistocene. [4]
Slightly downstream from the salmon station, the Lochsa passes White Sand Campground on the right. About 1.5 miles (2.4 km) later, it flows by the Powell Ranger Station and heliport and, shortly thereafter, Lochsa Lodge and Powell Campground, all on the right, and receives Cliff Creek and Jay Creek, both from the left. Sandpoint is the largest city in, and the county seat of, Bonner County, Idaho, United States. [4] Its population was 9,777 as of the 2022 census. [5]Sandpoint's major economic contributors include forest products, light manufacturing, tourism, recreation and government services.

In Idaho state code, there are 30 state parks listed, including Mowry State Park, Veteran's State Park, and Glade Creek. Water sports include fishing, boating, water skiing, and swimming. Other attractions are camping, hiking and exploring, biking, with great hunting in the fall. [10] The Club began in 1977 by Keith Sheckler and others to promote sailing in Sandpoint, Idaho. The Club’s active racing program attracted sailors from all around the Inland Northwest.
The forest headquarters are located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. There are local ranger district offices located in Bonners Ferry, Priest Lake, and Sandpoint (all in Idaho). A portion of the Salmo-Priest Wilderness lies within Kaniksu National Forest; however, most of it lies within neighboring Colville National Forest, to the west.
