The film stars Allari Naresh, Sharwanand, and Kamalinee Mukherjee. Loosely inspired by The Motorcycle Diaries (2004), the plot follows the quest of Abhiram (Sharwanand), a rich and arrogant man to seek his love, Janaki (Mukherjee). He is joined by Gaali Seenu (Naresh), a road-side thief in a journey that ultimately results in his self-discovery.

Edara Naresh (born 30 June 1982), better known as Allari Naresh, is an Indian actor and film producer who works predominantly in Telugu films. Starring in over 55 films and known for his various comic roles, Naresh earned two Filmfare Awards South , one Nandi Award , and one South Indian International Movie Award for his work.
He later roped in Mr. India contest winner Raghu Mukherjee and Srinagar Kitty to play the roles of Sharwanand and Allari Naresh respectively. The film was shot at the temple town of Kukke Subramanya, Sakleshpur, Kuduremukha and Yadiyur, all in Karnataka state.
In 2008, Krish Jagarlamudi made his debut with Gamyam, starring Allari Naresh, Sharwanand, and Kamalinee Mukherjee.The film was produced by his father, Saibabu Jagarlamudi, along with his brother-in-law, Bibo Srinivas, and his friend, Rajeev Reddy, who came forward after Krish tried to convince many notable film producers.
