"Physically Based Shading" was introduced by Yoshiharu Gotanda during the course Physically-Based Shading Models in Film and Game Production at the SIGGRAPH 2010.
The series describes adventures of the protagonist with the user name "Gameknight999", who is initially a griefer and finds himself teleported by one of his father's inventions into the world of the Minecraft video game. Gameknight discovers that the creatures in the game are alive and it isn't a game to them.
The two templates must be used together to properly generate the table. The main template does not have any special parameters other than accepting instances of {{Video game titles/item}}. The item sub-template has multiple parameters to display the video game title's information as well as alter the format of the table rows.
The player can collect the spirits of the various demons and zombies they fight in the game with a gun known as "The Catcher". The player-character can then use captured spirits to 'feed' their weapons and evolve them into more powerful forms. For example, the Handgun evolves into the Sub Shotgun, which can evolve further into the Shotgun.
The first section of the book is concerned with mundane weapons and armor. It introduces many new weapons, such as the Gyrspike, a sword with a spiked ball attached to the hilt by a chain. As well, the section lists the different weapons used throughout the different cultures and time periods, and the names they were known by.
