Men in Black 3 (stylized as MIB³) is a 2012 American science fiction action comedy film based on the Marvel Comics series of a similar name, in turn based on the conspiracy theory, which is the sequel to Men in Black II (2002), the third installment in the Men in Black film series and the final installment in the original trilogy.

The 2012 Malian coup d'état began on 21 March that year, when mutinying Malian soldiers, displeased with the management of the Tuareg rebellion, attacked several locations in the capital Bamako, including the presidential palace, state television, and military barracks.

The counter-coup was a failure. Green Berets launched a raid into the Djicoroni camp on May 1, and the Red Berets fled with their families. Some retreated towards the Samako training camp west of Bamako. [5] In total, eleven to fourteen people were killed in the counter-coup attempted and forty were injured. [6]
