Salvadoran UR-416 armoured cars are normally armed with a M2HB .50 Browning (12.7×99mm) heavy machine gun mounted on the roof, sometimes fitted with a shield to protect the gunner, whilst some vehicles also have in addition a M60D machine gun (7.62×51mm) and shield mounted on the roof at the rear.
