Liquorland is an Australian liquor store chain. It is one of three liquor brands within the Coles Group , [ 2 ] along with the larger discount format First Choice Liquor and more upmarket orientated Vintage Cellars .
First Choice Liquor grew out of the former Quaffers brand, [1] and sits alongside Liquorland and Vintage Cellars, Coles' other liquor brands. [2] The first store was opened in May 2005 at Tooronga Village in Melbourne. [3]
Vintage Cellars was established in 1951 by Jack Edwards and Edward Hayward with the first store opening on Gawler Place, Adelaide. [2] As at June 2018 there were 84 Vintage Cellars stores. [3] In September 2024, Coles announced it would begin a pilot program to rebrand some Vintage Cellars stores as Liquorland Cellars. [1] [4]
Coles Online is the company's online shopping ('click & collect' and home delivery) service. Between 1986 and 2006, Coles Supermarkets was a brand of Coles Myer, later Coles Group, prior to Wesfarmers purchasing Coles Group in 2007.
