Pros: - Good quality printing - I have been left a view reviews of customers saying that the quality is really high and clear. - Cheap Prices compared to others. Cons: - They do not own or operate any of the printing warehouses -This means they essentially subcontract the printing to various local producers.
I have an €700 eco tank printer, i can print out stuff that is 2-3 times the quality of whatever Gelato produces for about €3-4 a print. All that advertisment about using printers that cost €2,000+ and high quality paper is just mostily advertising bullcrap. It depends on who prints that hoodie for Gelato.
So the inflationary pressures on the supply chain are really significant at the moment and pretty much every print on demand company in the world has had to increase pricing. Prodigi is slightly different in that as well as the 50+ partners around the world we also have our own facilities in UK, EU & USA which means we're able to be much more ...
So I've very recently found gelato and from my research there is a mixed bag of results but most of the negative ones seem to be older. With that said is there anyone on here that uses gelato and what are they like as I've never used them or any other similar service before. Add a Comment.
I'm looking at the various options for orders and POD fulfilment, and the most popular seem to be Printful, Printify and Gelato. However, I've had second thoughts and I got the idea of dealing with printers directly. Firstly, the obvious advantage of using services of Gelato, Printful and Printify is the convenience and scalability.
The-POD-Father. • 8 mo. ago. Printful operates their own print shop, whereas Gelato (like Printify and Gooten) is a middle man and contracts out the printing to third party print shops around the world. Re: quality - everyone says they've got great stuff, so the only way for you to find out is to order samples.
Some of the best prints I have seen. You may want to take a look at them. I've had mixed experiences with Gelato. The apparel was 50% really bad and the rest was ok. I've seen better with Printful. However, their print division is A+. I've ordered prints, calendars and mugs and they've all come out amazing.
when it comes to refund, gelato is way better. printify is middleman therefore it is hard to get refund for small mistakes or unclear color or late delivery. Printify is cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Their quality isn't nearly as good as Printful or Gelato, and their customer service sucks donkey balls.
Printify AS has more colour options, is cheaper for the items, and has more options for Lane Seven, including their tshirts. The Printify premium would further increase margins if it got to be worth it due to order volume. I did get samples from AS and really enjoyed the print quality. Gelato, however, has quicker and cheaper shipping rates ...
Gelato and Printfy are great companies, they have production partners all over the world. So, if you have ordered from the UK they will ship from the UK, if you have an order from the US they will ship from the US. That gives an amazing advantage in delivery speed-wise.
