  6. New Ping G irons vs G25's - Equipment - GolfWRX

    forums.golfwrx.com/topic/1335506-new-ping-g-irons-vs-g25s

Check the G iron thread. Tons of direct comparison info. Short version (my opinion): G's look nicer behind the ball, G25's nicer in the bag. G's are longer with the stronger lofts and a little spring face pop, G25's more solid feeling and sounding with a thicker face. G25s have a traditional length progression, G's have funky 5/8" length steps ...

  7. My review of Ping Karsten irons - Equipment - GolfWRX

    forums.golfwrx.com/topic/1085266-my-review-of-ping-karsten-irons

To make a long story short, my new Karsten irons have been a perfect fit for me. They fly high, long and straight. As other reviewers have written, even the occasional mishit has been long enough to stay out of trouble and a hook or slice is nearly impossible on such a large forgiving face.

  8. Editor's Review- Ping i20 irons - Editor Reviews- Equipment ... -...

    forums.golfwrx.com/topic/757068-editors-review-ping-i20-irons

Irons set ordered-. Ping i20 4-W & UW, Red color codes (.75* flat),Project Xi (PXi) 6.0 at ½” longer than Ping standard length. D2 swingweight, ID8 full cord white grips. I came up with these specifications after a previous fitting last year and after consulting with my club pro.

  9. Ping G30 irons review - Equipment - GolfWRX

    forums.golfwrx.com/topic/1089776-ping-g30-irons-review

G30 specs: blue dot (0.75* upright), ProjectX 5.5 shafts, +1/2" length, Ping OEM 5L orange (midsize) grips. Build/looks: standard Ping quality - in other words, excellent. IMO the G30s are the nicest looking irons in Ping's G series so far. Compared to the G20s, the G30 soles are definitely narrower and the topline are very slightly thinner.

  10. Ping Eye 2 - How Does is stack Up vs Today’s clubs

    forums.golfwrx.com/topic/1727486-ping-eye-2-how-does

Posted June 5, 2020. The Eye2 were typical of irons of that era in that they didn't have the bounce we see in so many such clubs today. The bounce angles are progressive, not unlike what we see today in Ping's sets, but it's 0* in the 5 and 6 irons, negative in the longer irons, 3* in the 7-9 irons, and 9* in the PW. 1.

  11. Ping i e1 irons - long term review?? - Equipment - GolfWRX

    forums.golfwrx.com/topic/1317784-ping-i-e1-irons-long-term-review

I went from Ping S58s to the ie1 irons and I still feel this is the best overall iron I have ever played. I have played the Ping eye2, eye2+, I3+, S 58 and these are by far the best of the bunch. Durability has not been a issue yet, but I spoke with Ping and they can be refinished with a star shot back/cavity rather than the painted.
