The Mini Pyraminx is the 2x2x2 version of the original Pyraminx puzzle. This means it only has two layers with respect to each of its four axis. The only moving parts of the Mini Pyraminx are the "trivial" tips. There are 4 of them, and each can be found in one of 3 positions: solved, twisted clockwise or twisted couter-clockwise.
Solving the Mini Mirror Cube is exactly the same as solving the Mini Rubik's Cube. This puzzle actually has only 8 moving parts, all of which are corners. Each corner has its unique size and should be matched with the parts that share 2 of its 3 dimensions (for e.g height and width are the same but depth isn't).
The puzzle, however, is not too difficult to solve and many of the algorithms for solving the Rubik's Cube and the Pocket Cube also apply to the Kilominx. The Kilominx is not an official WCA puzzle. The unofficial record for the fastest solve is 9.17 seconds, set by Jared Stinson of the United States.
