The SteelMade flat top and drip tray look great and from all the comments people are loving them. I planning on picking up a Napoleon Prestige gas grill this winter; it seems like the hanging brackets on the drip tray won’t work with the Napoleon wave grates.

This SteelMade Flat Top Griddle is what I'm considering for my gas grill. I was impressed by the photos of heat distribution on a gasser compared to a Blackstone griddle: Blackstone Griddle: Steelmade Flat Top Griddle: A drip tray is optional ($34.95), and there is a starter kit package for $119. The griddle only is $89.
Not sure of that one. On the other hand, there are kits to convert a gas grill to a teppanyaki griddle. Looking into it, the flat top would be $220. I would get a useable grill area of 23†x15†. I’d still have to get a $50 tank. I wouldn’t have to fix anything, though.
November 25, 2022, 07:22 PM. Hey, I bought a Steelmade baking steel since it was reasonably priced and US made. But they have griddles that sit on a range and basically turn the burners on the range into a flat top griddle. For some things, this would be really useful, especially in the winter here where it's often rainy and dark after 430pm.
