Honda Pilot Electrical Problems. jm73233 Member Posts: 3. December 2008. My 2004 Honda Pilot is somehow losing its connection w/ a power source. When this happens all dash gauges bounce up and down when I turn the car off. When I restart the car, the trip meter/exterior temp goes back to the trip meter even though I always leave it on temp.
Honda Pilot Sunroof and Moonroof Problems. pilotman6 Member Posts: 3. April 2010. We just got a new 2010 Honda Pilot with leather, moonroof, etc, and about one every three times we open the moonroof, it won't close. It will start to close, but just before it should close completely it stops and starts to back up again, but it doesn't back up ...
Honda Pilot Transmission Problems. At approximately 136,000 miles, I began to notice a bit of a jerk when the car shifted up. This was intermittent, and sometimes occurred between 1st and 2nd, and other times between 2nd and 3rd. Occasionally I would notice it from 3rd to 4th. The problem became more regular and when I had my scheduled service ...

I just bought a Honda Pilot , in Feb 2008 , and i found so many issues with my Pilot. I have faxed Honda and the dealer, but i need to know my options and your suggestions. Problem 1: 50 % of the Engine starts lead to a Loud Ting noise from the Engine. Problem 2: The Driver Car Door doesn’t close properly unless extra force is applied.
piealot Member Posts: 6. July 2008 edited March 2014. Our air conditioning suddenly stopped, apparently on start-up recently. The compressor doesn't kick in at all, and the ventilation fan doesn't turn on either. No heat either. Serpentine belt is fine. The control console for heat and air conditioning all seems to look and function normally.
My '04 Honda Pilot EX-L had exactly the same problem at just under 90,000 miles. The torque converter was the problem, but Honda had redesigned the torque converter and transmission so a simple replacement was not an option.
Just involves 2005 Pilots. "NHTSA said it has received 205 reports of "unexpected vehicle deceleration and/or steering pull resulting from inappropriate electronic brake application with no brake light illumination." Sounds like it involves the Vehicle Stability Assist system on ~87,803 Pilots.
Our carefully treated, self maintained with all maintenance schedule work done 2004 Honda Pilot LX transmission died last month at 91,000. Dealer estimate $4,500 for a rebuilt installed! Honda regional gave me a real hard time but after several letters and half a dozen calls to national, got a deal for $2,100.
I own 2003 Honda Pilot which I bought new and had the shudder issue described in many of the blogs around 30-40 mph. I always have changed the fluid on the scheduled interval and was extremely upset that the vehicle was prone to this problem. So much for Honda's quality reputation for which they command a such a premium sticker price.
