Delete the " Dragon Age II " folder inside the " LocalContent " folder. Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time. Type or copy and paste " %AppData% " (without quotes) into the new window > hit ENTER. Now your Windows explorer should have brought you to your " C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Roaming " folder.
Souryapool. ★★★★ Novice. So I solved this by following this method posted by someone on Steam: Launch Dragon Age Origins, log in to your EA Account from there. Alt-tab out, launch DA 2, try logging in to your EA account, it should work now (it did for me). Close both games, then launch DA2. You should still be logged in, and your DLC ...
Origin Games>Dragon Age II>addins and click on the proper folder. For example, if it's Legacy go to Origin Games>Dragon Age II>addins>da2_prc_drk. Then extract the content. And this one step must be repeated for each DLC. You can enjoy the DLC in Dragon Age 2. 4.
October 2023 - last edited November by EA_Shepard. DA2 Ultimate worked fine on Origin. DLCs and additional stuff loads on EA's new platform, but show as Unauthorized and won't run. Saved games, using the legally purchased DLCs etc won't run. I actually PURCHASED DA2 ULTIMATE AGAIN to fix the problem - it supposedly came with all the DLCs etc.
Recently just bought Dragon Age 2 off of Origin. Currently only have Black Emporium and the Free content also offered. Any attempt to actually start the game fails. I tried reinstalling 3-4 times and it hasn't worked (Also tried repairing installs and checking updates). Went in and was told that I was missing ssleay32.dll.
Whether I'm starting Dragon Age 2 via Steam or Origin, or opening a local file, the Origin will Automatically restart. I have never been reported any erro or any bug,and I just can't launch the game. I've tried clearing the cache and verifying game file integrity (fixing game files) and running in safe mode and re-downloading the game.
Enter CMD into the " run " field > ENTER. In the CMD window, at the prompt enter " systeminfo " (without the quotes) > ENTER. At the end of the output you should find Hyper-V information. If you get a "yes" for any requirement disable Virtualization in the BIOS or follow this guide. Restart the Device > Test.
The problem is that the game doesn't detect the default resolution of your monitor, so instead it runs at a different default resolution and displays in a window of that size. The solution is to change the game resolution (via the in-game Video options) to match the resolution of your display. Then it runs full screen. Reply.
July 2015. Options. crownleys. ★★★ Newbie. I've been having issues with my copy of Dragon Age 2 on my macbook (OSX). I bought the game of Amazon.com. It downloaded fine, installed fine, but when I tried to run it I it kept telling me I failed the release date check. I've spent all afternoon browsing forums and websites, and encountered ...
I have the Ultimate Edition. Adding here that if I open the EA app and go to DA2 and click manage then add-ons it shows The Black Emporium DLC but says to "manage on Steam". That is the only DLC mentioned on the EA app and none appear in-game. @TangoNoir Okay yeah if you own it in Steam it should always say that.
