As a student at Leon High School, Lead Pastor Dean Inserra was given a passion by God to one day plant a church in his hometown of Tallahassee, a city over-churched but under-reached by the gospel. In early 2007, with a group of close friends, Dean began a Bible study in his parent’s home.

Now this campus serves as the broadcast campus on Sunday mornings, featuring live music and primarily live preaching. City Church KiDS is offered at all Sunday services. The Sessions Road campus is also the central location for City Church Youth services on Wednesdays.
Dean Inserra is the founding and lead pastor of CITYCHURCH, where he leads the vision and preaching. Dean was called to start a church in his hometown of Tallahassee when he was the Student Body President at Leon High School.
