    As long as state of Ky, including department of fish and wildlife, continue to sell licenses, even with the minimal restrictions, the ohio river will continue its decline. I too got frustrated with seeing the cf nets in the markland pool, which left a lot of fishing trips getting very few or totally skunked.

    Michael, paddlefish can be snagged below Kentucky Lake in the tailwaters year round. There is certain times that snagging can only be done at night. The rest of the state has a February 1 to May 10 season on paddlefish in certain waters. You can find the prohibited waters listed in the Ky sportfishing guide.
