Hawk Tuah is a phrase from a viral video posted in 2024, in which during an interview, Haliey Welch [a] (/ ˈ h eɪ l i /; born 2002 or 2003) [2] used the catchphrase, "hawk tuah", an apparent onomatopoeia for expectoration on a man's penis during oral sex. The Balao halfbeak (Hemiramphus balao), occasionally called the Balao for short, is an ocean-going species of fish in the family Hemiramphidae.
