Every one I've ever seen, is in an area with a much higher per capita income than TV, with much more expensive homes. Raw population #'s aren't very relevant, their market analysis is predicated on how many people in their desired demographic, live within 30 minutes of a potential location.
I've rarely seen an Aldi with more than four workers on at a time. Publix? Probably 20 or more on average. Publix probably has huge overhead compared to Publix. That extra overhead translates into higher prices. If Trader Joe's approach is similar, then I'd have no basis to believe that their products are any less healthy than, say, Publix.
When it was first built thirty years ago, there was a vegetable market, bakery, Katie Belles, a church, and a unique home decor store. ALL GONE! Starbucks came and went, as well as several restaurants. Lake Sumter has seen businesses come and go. Brownwood has seen a few turnovers. There is nothing different or alarming happening now. Same ol ...
Everything is gorgeous , TV should be so lucky to have a Bravo there, great store ~ great prices IMO. There's also a new Publix in Ocala that has a gigantic circular Deli you can grab your food and go dine upstairs on the balcony they incorporated in that store. Well worth the trip there ! _____

We have the pull-down stairs and a few plywood pieces, pretty much just store Christmas items (I'm minimal there too - our tree hangs on the wall), and grandkid stuff - pack n play, kids' table & chairs, 2 bins of toys. Not much else. If I were doing it again, I'd do the upgraded stairs. Still wouldn't store anything else.
I've seen an RV and boat storage area on 466 when entering TV from 301. I know there are a number of large lakes within 15-20 miles East of TV that I'm sure have marinas. Some may have in-water slips.
QUOTE=Craig Vernon;2366113]TV's are continuing to struggle internally as residents age and the footprint gets larger. The oldest areas seem to be losing businesses as the shiny new areas develop. It seems to me that it would be very difficult to maintain a business with so many part time residents and an aging population that has less need ...
Wonderful bedroom community in the suburbs UNTIL they built the local Walmart. Quality of life went down dramatically with crime spiking along with way more traffic on the surrounding streets. We're south of 44 and were happy this type of high traffic generating big box store wasn't in our immediate area. Oh well, nothing stays the same.
We have seen numerous small mini cars on the golf cart paths. Is this something that is allowed by TV? I realize that they appear to be the right size but I assume they are Street legal and go faster than a typical golf cart.
